Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. Her previous roles included a presidential candidate and hosting a television show on MSNBC. She is also a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and co-host of The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball have made it clear they would be leaving the show, in May 2021. They wanted to create their own independent project called Breaking Points. Ball is co-hosting Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has guest starred on shows like Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) as well as CNN (CNBC). Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball says that her political interest due to the fact that she became an expectant mother in the 2008 presidential primaries, and watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She saw how it affected people in that country and thus gained an appreciation of the global implications of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was nominated by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1st Congressional District in the 2010 election. However, she was defeated by Rob Wittman. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She established the People's House Project, an action committee working for Democratic causes in May 2017.
